that may require a visit from emergency medical personnel, we all know that time is important.
Help us help you
faster by having important medical history available and a list of medications prepared in
advance.

Fire & Rescue is the heart of what we, the volunteers of the Getzville Fire Company are all
about. This section of our web site explains a little bit about the services
that we provide the community and includes feature stories about what it is
like to be a volunteer at Getzville as well as pictures to illustrate what
we do, how we go about it, and the equipment that we use.

The men and women who volunteer are the life-blood of the Getzville Fire Company and it's associated organizations. The Getzville Fire Company's Active Company, it's brother organization, the Getzville Exempt Fireman's Association, work together. Along side us are the Ladies Auxiliary, and the future of our organization, the young women and men of Explorer Post 111.

Education and fire prevention is a big part of fighting fires. At Getzville Fire Company, our efforts to prevent fires encourage us to reach out into the community. This web site is one way that we do that, but there are many others. The most important is meeting, talking to, and educating people in person. Read here about some of those efforts. If we do our job right, perhaps you will learn something new that will help keep you or your loved ones safe.
