EMS Services
On a day to day basis one can never know what is going to happen, from a slip and fall to a heart attack. Whether it be at four o'clock in the afternoon, or two in the morning we will respond with trained personnel to provide care. Each member of the Getzville Fire Co. is trained to a minimum of Certified First Responder. However, many of our members go above and beyond that to become trained as either EMT-Basics or EMT-Intermediates. Rescue 7 and Rescue 4 both provide this valuable service. Along with these two trucks each of our Chiefs vehicles are stocked with basic life support equipment. Many of our members carry EMS bags in their own personal vehicles as well to provide care. In providing EMS services to our neighbors we receive assistance from the Twin City ambulance company that provides Paramedic level services and transportation.
